David Street Gospel Hall

The subjects for the Saturday afternoon Winter Bible Readings at David Street, for 2010/11, are the opening chapters of Joshua. More details to follow.

There are three Sunday evening Bible studies coming up soon, God willing.

Sunday 5th September - the believer and his justification - Phil Armstrong
Sunday 3rd October - the believer and his gift -
Sunday 7th November - the believer and the New Testament pattern -

The programme runs as follows:

7:30-8:00 - Hymn singing
8:00-8:30 - Supper
8:30-9:15 - Bible Study

All are welcome to join us for these sessions.

The Gospel Tent in Sefton Park was a great success, last month. Full details, including MP3 downloads, are available on the tent website.

On Saturday 17th April, we will be hosting the Annual Conference for the Lancashire Gospel Tent. The speaker is Roly Pickering from Northern Ireland. The meeting starts at 6:30pm. All welcome.

This summer, the Lancashire Gospel Tent is visiting Sefton Park again. From Sat 5th June to Thu 1st July, there will be meetings every evening, plus extra events throughout the day.
Paul McCauley from Northern Ireland is the preacher. More details nearer the time.

Phil Coulson from Forres, Scotland is visiting the believers at David Street next week. Meetings are arranged as follows:

Sat 27 Feb: Bible Reading (1 Sam 4): 5pm, followed by tea
Sat 27 Feb: Ministry Meeting: 7:30pm

Mon 1 Mar: Ministry Meeting: 8-9pm
Tue 2 Mar: Ministry Meeting: 8-9pm
Wed 3 Mar: Ministry Meeting: 8-9pm
Thu 4 Mar: Missionary Report Meeting: 8-9pm

(Phil has to leave on Friday, so there will not be a meeting that day, as previously announced. Apologies for this mixup.)

The prayer meeting and Bible study have now been combined to a single midweek meeting, each Wednesday from 8 to 9:15pm. There will be 30 minutes prayer, followed by a 45 minute Bible study.

There will no longer be a regular meeting on Monday evenings.

Jeremy Hall is to lead the Bible study on the Holy Spirit - Baptism and Filling on Saturday 24 January. We regret that John Riddle is not able to visit us at this time.
