On Saturday 10 May and Sunday 11 May, the Annual Missionary Conference takes place at David Street Gospel Hall. Speakers are Robert Revie from Ethiopia and George Meikle from Scotland.

You are invited to an Easter Special for family and friends, at David Street Gospel Hall, on Sunday 23 March at 6:30pm. Guest speaker Stephen Baker will present the Easter message. Refreshments provided.

Jim Baker from Hamilton, Scotland, will be visiting the believers at David Street for a series of Bible teaching meetings as follows:

On Saturday 26 January 2008,
David West from Leicester will conduct the Bible Study, 5-6:30pm. The subject is An outline of Luke's Gospel. Tea follows. The Liverpool Saturday evening rally for Christians commences at 7:30.

Sports and Crafts for teenagers on Friday 25 January.
With a Bible talk + drink afterwards.

You are invited to a Christmas Special at David Street Gospel Hall, to take place on Sunday 2 December 2007 at 6:30pm. Guest speaker Stephen Baker from Huyton will be giving a short Christmas message. Refreshments at the end.

Brother Robert Revie, from Scotland, conducted an interesting Bible Study in Mark's Gospel on Saturday 24 November. Around 60 people were present at the reading. In the evening, Robert continued with a study of Isaiah 40.

Summer Special is here again!

At David Street Gospel Hall, we have a week of activities for children, in the middle of the summer holidays! From Monday 6th August to Friday 10th August, we will have games, songs, Bible stories and prizes in the Gospel Hall, 2-3 each afternoon. If you live in the area, you should be getting a flier through your door soon. If not, you are still most welcome to come along.

[update] Summer Special has finished now. Around 50 children came during our week, and found out about different houses that the Lord Jesus visited while He was here on earth. They also learned to say John chapter 3 verse 16 off by heart.

Bible Studies in David Street Gospel Hall, Winter 2007/8

Saturdays: Bible Study at 5pm. Tea at 6:30pm. Rally at 7.30pm

The theme for the Bible readings is "introduction and character of the four Gospels".

October 27 - Matthew's Gospel - Jeremy Hall (Manchester)
November 24 - Mark's Gospel - Robert Revie (Tarbolton)
January 26 - Luke's Gospel - David West (Leicester)
February 23 - John's Gospel - Jim Baker (Hamilton)

The Lancashire Gospel Tent was pitched in Sefton Park, South Liverpool, during the month of June. Each evening, the Good News was presented from the Bible. The preacher was Ian Jackson, from Eastbourne. Attendance was very encouraging, with over 120 people listening to the Bible messages on some nights. Teenage nights on Fridays were especially popular, with crafts, football and pizza.

Our Easter Special takes place on Easter Sunday, 8 April at 6:30pm. There will be hymn singing, Bible reading and a short message. Followed by tea and cakes. All are welcome!

Ray Dawes, from Pamber Heath, is visiting David Street Gospel Hall for Bible Teaching next weekend.
